Sam L. Fadduol

Sam was born in 1957 in Canutillo, Texas, a small city right on the Texas/ New Mexico border.  Sam graduated in 1975 from Gadsden High School located in the rural countryside just outside of Anthony, New Mexico.  In 1975, Sam began his undergraduate education at Texas Tech University and three years later graduated with high honors (top 2% of University graduating class) with a Bachelor of Arts in History.  In 1981, Sam graduated from Texas Tech Law School and began practice in Lubbock, Texas.  In 1984, at the age of twenty-seven, Sam formed his own law practice.  That first year, Sam employed approximately 13 persons.  That year Sam made a decision to dedicate his practice completely to the representation of victims of personal injury and wrongful death.  Sam believes that personal injury and wrongful death victims deserve a law firm whose employees bring to the table a commitment for competency, hard work and honesty.  In each decision to hire other attorneys or staff members, the determinitative factor is whether such an employee has the core values of good character and honesty.

Sam’s mother grew up in the City of Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, during the Great Depression.  Sam spent his childhood summers in Chihuahua where he learned to speak Spanish fluently.  Sam’s father was born in Zabadeni, Syria but fled the Country after suffering discrimination for his Christian beliefs. 

Sam’s parents taught him the virtue of hard work.  Sam’s first job was in the fourth grade when he would wash soda bottles for 25 cents an hour.  The school bus would drop him off at the job and after work Sam would walk or hitch-hike home.  That same year, Sam’s teacher pulled him aside and encouraged him to consider a career as a lawyer.  From that day forward, Sam was driven to become a lawyer.

Since becoming a lawyer in 1981, Sam has never sought out or pursued headlines or publicity.  All too often, attorneys are driven by an out-of-control egos.  Sam’s greatest accomplishment as an attorney is not the subject of some press clipping or an accolade received from some self-serving group.  Sam believes that his greatest accomplishment is the millions upon millions of dollars that he has guided to be set aside to protect his clients future especially the college education of young people.
